the trip to jackson

It's been a whirlwind since we got back from the trip.

The show was amazing and thankfully successful. Thank you to everyone that helped so much with it. My in-laws are absolutely the greatest people. They do way way too much for me and I am so humbled by their love and encouragement to me and my work as a potter.

The people that host the show are Betsy and Bill Nation. They have a gorgeous home in Jackson and it just makes my pots look so great. They might as well be called family too, because that is what they treat me like. When I do this show it really does take a village to pull off and I'm indebted to all of them. Then there is Dan. Well, my last post sums my gratefullness to him up.

So, here are a few pictures from the trip. thought I needed to take care of this post so I can get ready for the Christmas posts.

Lee Lee and Pop Pop are called by name clearly now and o how precious it is to hear him say he loves them, breaks my heart everytime.




Here is "Bobby". Yes, that's right. Lee Lee got Dan's old GI Joe's out for Will to play with and when he found this one and he ran up to Dan, Kirk and Beth and said "here's bobby". Now, most of you have been to camp merri-mac/timberlake before so I won't explain who he is, just tell you, yes, he meant BOBBY BOYD> amazing I know. We introduced him to the real thing and I think Bobby boyd felt very honored. Hopefully you will get to meet this GI Joe Bobby sometime, it's a real hoot.

O here is my love. my nephew Cooper. Look at that cute perfect little face. What a happy boy he is and such a good baby. I was amazed at everything he did, he decided to start crawling while we were there too, thank you for that Coop. I love love love you!!!!

Here are the men. Dan's grandmother fell and broke her hip while we were there and so we went to see her, this was outside the nursing home. Please say a prayer for her to recover well from it and not be in too much pain.

Uncle Kirk with the boys. I think this was one of the only pictures I have with Will and Kirk where they are not spinning around or moving in some way. Our doctor brother in law had been on a very long shift. We are so proud of him!

Here is the family. The Singletary's. I love seeing them all together like this. My how there sweet family of 4 has changed.

We really look forward to spending Christmas with them in Black Mountain.

This is the first time we will actually wake up for Christmas at our house. We got Stockings!!!! Exciting!!!

We are headed to Hickory to celebrate with the my family this weekend, I'm excited to all be together for a bit.

Sorry this is just to the point, I had to get back into blog world in some way.
